Mrs Posty loves ribs braised in beer with onions and Cajun rub then grilled and sauced. Been trying to cure her of that for years. Brussels sprouts are one of her favorite foods. Damn.

Traveling in a fried-out Kombi
On a hippie trail, head full of zombie
I met a strange lady, she made me nervous
She took me in and gave me breakfast
And she said

Do you come from a land down under?
Where women glow and men plunder?
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover

Buying bread from a man in Brussels
He was six-foot-four and full of muscles
I said, "Do you speak-a my language?"
He just smiled and gave me a Vegemite sandwich
And he said

I come from a land down under
Where beer does flow and men chunder
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover
Yeah

Lyin' in a den in Bombay
With a slack jaw, and not much to say
I said to the man, "Are you trying to tempt me
Because I come from the land of plenty?"
And he said

Do you come from a land down under? (oh yeah yeah)
Where women glow and men plunder?
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover

Living in a land down under
Where women glow and men plunder
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover

Living in a land down under
Where women glow and men plunder
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover

Living in a land down under
Where women glow and men plunder
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover

Living in a land down under
Where women glow and men plunder
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover

Useless info:
Chunder
Chunder means to be sick, it originates from old seafaring days when sailors would get seasick and stick their head out of the porthole in their cabin. As they did this they would shout "Watch Under" to warn people in lower cabins of the forthcoming puke. Over the years this has evolved in Chunder.

Hard to find vegemite in the US.  Had it in England.  It's Australian but I guess if you have the Union Jack in your flag... Whatever.  It tastes like crap.  I can't believe it's actually supposed to be eaten.  I figure you must use it to turn stuff into something that people won't eat so you can have it.

Do you suppose they wrote the second verse for Jean Claude Van Dumb?

I never actually read the lyrics.  I think I probably know them well enough to sing along with 75% of the song, but never really paid attention.  Funny, I never heard that chandler came from seamen.  I'd heard it was from masonry.  Like yelling fore in golf, the brick layers would yell it when they'd drop a pile of mortar or a brick.  DOn't know where I heard that.  I knew the term, and have no idea why or from where.  And I don't think I even realized it was in this song.

Amazon has everything - My wife loves Marmite and orders it direct from England thru Amazon - 2 55 gallon drums if needed and you don't have to re-order often.
They understand about the size because it's being shipped to America.

Did not know Vegemite was a real thing.  Thought maybe it was like Vitameatavegamin on the old I Love Lucy.
