Historically of course there are many who deserve to be publicly squashed like a bug. Tyrants, tyrant wannabes (foreign and domestic) and the few deserving old girlfriends. Today though, out of the entire theater of world events there's one quack that annoys me more than any other. My choice for this thread is:
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
Nutjob (and President of Iran)

My first runner up for this Mind-Splattering-but-August award goes to the other nut job with a hard on for nuclear capability and the man most willing to waste his native population:
Kim Jong-Il
Premier (and wack job) of the DPRK

And my honorable mention goes to the our Hemispheric wack-job and otherwise inconsequential nuisance; the one, the only:
Hugo Chavez
The Great Bankrupter of Venezuela
and the only Latin American leader
to actually manage to piss off Spain

May Lake Erie class boats bring down Russian satellites on the heads of each of them.

I don't know.... The first three honorees were defacto leaders of their countries (even if nutjobs every one). I don't think Obama fits in that group

Before I read your nominations I was thinking what you had for 1 and 3.
I was also thinking the several entertainers who feel the need to spew their political views simply because they are famous and have a microphone. I'd even like to narrow that list down the the couple who threatened to leave the US if GW was re-elected (but didn't).
I guess there's also no need to nominate Michael Jackson since his Dr. already took care of that for us.

Don,
It is hard to argue with those choices especially if do not want to list leaders from the African continent that most would not recognize. other than Maummar Gaddafi,
(he has been much quieter since we sent a missile to his house)

Yet another score the Reagan administration. He may still be a nutjob but he's a nutjob who learned there were consequences. Now he's the Swiss' problem
