A good friend of mine, Terry Chambers, succumbed to cancer this morning. Terry was a great guy who always had a smile on his face, and loved to ride. I had ridden with Terry and several of friends and family to Sturgis a couple of times, and on some local rides as well. He bought a new SERG last year that he was very proud of, and he was looking forward to putting lots of miles on it.
Please put Terry's wife Maree and the rest of his family in your thoughts and prayers.
Here is a picture of Terry and RG at Sturgis last year.

Travis, The bond we form with other riders is what sets us apart as bikers from the rest of society. Whenever we lose a fellow biker I liken it to the effect portrayed in Star Wars when people of The Force are lost. My condolences to you on the loss of your bro and of course to his family. I say a prayer here that Terry is up there with the Great Biker in the Sky ridin free forever. Vaya con Dios Terry !

No. He lived in Illinois. His brother and my Dad are good friends and I met Terry and his wife a few years back through his brother Tim. Its really too bad, as I said he just bought that new bike last year and was feeling like a million bucks until last fall. They diagnosed the cancer in October (I think), not sure where it was located, but they treated it and he was doing really well. At Christmas he really seemed to have it beat. Then my Dad called me 2 or 3 weeks ago and said the cancer was back and they found it in his brain. At that point things did not look very good, but I still don't think they expected it to take him so fast. All in all it may be best, he probably suffered less this way.

Sorry for your loss. As having lost a few close friends as well as my mother to cancer, I know how hard it is to cope and to get through. Please send my condolences to his family.
