Let's see, 1/8 th of an oz. of moonshine per popsicle. I don't think that would have any kick at all. If you used enough moonshine to make it have a kick, then it wouldn't freeze. Think I'll stick with Dreamsickles.

Discovered something exciting in the World of Food Porn.  Wondra flour.  Had never used it until about a month ago when I saw it listed as an ingredient in a batter recipe.  Works great in gravy & use it for breading (about 1/3 or so of Wondra with the rest plain flour for the dredging) & is supposed to work well in other applications.  Especially good for gravy when making the roux it never clumps up.  Yes, life in the hinterlands is better now no doubt due to the fine folks at General Mills.

hmm. Never really noticed much except it comes in that convenient for RV use size and container. It certainly didnít piss me off with lumps but Iíd dont remember thinking this is the best fried chicken ever or anything like that either. Iíll have to pay more attention this summer.

Noticed it makes the breading "stick" better.  Have used it on fried shrimp & steak. When the breading falls off a fried steak it is a PITA. Used with Panko bread crumbs  for crispier breading too.  Roux is what it has worked best at.  Suppose a lumpy roux is not a big problem when compared to Metric Global Warming.  Smooth gravy is better than lumpy gravy. That would not be a good name for a r & r band.

Not sure why it works better, info says it has been pre-cooked & dried.  I figure it is actually some sort of wheat bleached sorcery.
